Delete your data
Vollefy, the volleyball scoring app by Vollefy LLC. There is no account in the app, so there is no account to delete: what exists is the data one installation of the app has sent us, and this page is how to remove it.
In the app, in under a minute
- Open Vollefy and tap the settings icon at the top left of the home screen.
- Tap Delete my data. The app shows how much it is about to remove.
- Confirm. The deletion happens immediately, and the app reports what it removed.
If you no longer have the app
Email support@vollefy.com. Because the app never asks who you are, tell us what we can find your data by: the team names and the date of the matches, or a match code. We reply within a few days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Tournament directors can use the same address to have a console account and its tournaments removed.
What is deleted
Everything that installation sent to our servers:
- Usage records: which screens were opened and which controls were tapped, with the app version, device model and operating system version.
- Crash and error reports sent by that installation.
- Feedback sent from that installation: the rating, the note and the screen it was sent from.
- Matches that installation scored on its own, with their sets, rallies, timeouts, substitutions and libero records.
- The team and player names typed for those matches, when no other match uses them.
What is kept, and why
Matches scored on a tournament court, and the rosters those matches use.
They belong to the event and to the other people who depend on them: a result cannot vanish from a bracket or a standings table because one scorer cleared a tablet. The tournament director who owns the event can delete them, and so can we, at the director's request or yours.
The copy of your matches stored on your own device.
It never left the device, so there is nothing of it on our servers to remove. Uninstalling the app erases it.
What is removed automatically, without you asking
- Usage records: 180 days.
- Crash and error reports: 30 days.
- Feedback you send: one year.
- An anonymous installation identifier with no data attached to it: removed after 180 days of inactivity.
